What really sold me on it though was when I got an ear infection.... ya I know a woman that was almost 30 getting an ear infection seems ridiculous but I did get one. I called my doctor and he gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. Before I could pick up the antibiotic I decided to try the oils that I already had in my home to see if it would relieve some of the pain. So I put a drop of Lavender and rubbed it down the front of my ear and took a drop of Melaleuca and rubbed it down the back of my ear and my jaw line. I felt almost instant relief. I did this for about 3 days and never took the antibiotic because the pain was leaving. It was incredible!
After that it was as though I couldn't' learn enough about the oils. I just knew there was so much more I could be doing with them on a daily basis. It turns out I was right! I knew so many people that had oils in their home but have no idea how to use them. I hope I can help some of you become more confident in using the oils like I have.
I am definitely not the crazy oil lady that thinks they fix EVERYTHING. I still call my family doctor regularly and know that the oils will never replace modern medicine but I have seen their benefit in a lot of different ways in my short time using them and because of these benefits I use them as a first defense until I can get to a doctor.
